Awards

At this conference, awards will be presented for outstanding general oral presentations and poster presentations.

Details regarding the awards will be announced at a later date.

About Abstract Submission

We widely invite original presentations in the field of cultured food.

The acceptance or rejection of submitted abstracts, presentation format, and presentation category will be determined at the discretion of the secretariat.

Accepted abstracts will be published as part of the abstract proceedings on the conference website.

Please prepare your abstract in accordance with the abstract preparation guidelines below.

Eligibility

For this annual meeting of the society, the presenter (first author) of a registered abstract must be a member of the Japanese Society for Cultured Food.

Submission Method

All abstract submissions must be completed online through this website.

After completing the abstract registration, an automatic confirmation notice will be sent. In addition, the Secretariat will send an “Abstract Acceptance Notification” by Tuesday, July 14.

As internet traffic is expected to be very heavy just before the submission deadline, we strongly recommend completing your registration as early as possible.

Abstract Preparation Guidelines

Those who wish to present a general abstract (oral or poster presentation) are requested to complete the application by entering items 1–6 below in the abstract submission form provided below.

1. Presentation Format

Please choose either an oral presentation or a poster presentation.

(Due to program organization, your preferred presentation format may not always be accommodated. The final decision will be made at the discretion of the Conference Chair.)

2. Title of Presentation

Within 40 full-width characters
(or within 120 half-width characters if the presentation is in English)

3. Abstract

Please prepare your abstract according to the following guidelines.

(We recommend downloading the manuscript layout template below and preparing your abstract by overwriting the template.)

  1. Please prepare the manuscript on one page and submit it as a PDF file with embedded fonts.

  2. Use A4-size paper and set the margins to 30 mm at the top and 25 mm at the bottom, left, and right.

  3. Enter the title of the presentation in Gothic style font (font size: 14 pt), and insert one blank line (10.5 pt) below it.
    The title should be within 40 full-width characters (or within 120 half-width characters if written in English).

  4. Enter the affiliation(s) and author name(s) in Mincho style font (10.5 pt). Please insert a line break between the affiliation(s) and the author name(s).
    The presenter (first author) must be the presenting author and should be indicated by placing a circle mark (○) before their name.
    If there are multiple authors with different affiliations, please use superscript numbers to indicate the corresponding affiliations.

  5. Please ensure that the title, affiliations, and author names fit within six lines. After inserting one blank line, enter the main text.

  6. The main text should be prepared in Mincho style font (10.5 pt). Figures, tables, and their captions should be inserted directly into the main text.

  7. At the bottom of the page, please provide the title, author names, affiliations, and contact information in English.
    Please use Times New Roman font for this section.

  8. If the manuscript is prepared in English, please use Arial font for the title and Times New Roman for the rest.
    All other requirements should follow the above instructions.
