Presentation Time: 12 minutes (Presentation: 9 minutes, Q&A: 3 minutes)
Title Section: For submissions from Japan, titles, author names, and affiliations must be provided in both Japanese and English. Submissions from overseas may be provided in English only.
Figures and Legends: Please prepare figures, tables, and captions in English whenever possible
Presentation Language: English or Japanese (please refer to your acceptance notification)

Awards

At this conference, awards will be presented for outstanding general oral presentations and poster presentations.

Details regarding the awards will be announced at a later date.

If you would like your presentation to be considered for an award, please check the corresponding box during abstract submission.

About Abstract Submission

We welcome original research presentations in the field of cultured food.

The acceptance of submitted abstracts, presentation format, and presentation category will be determined by the Organizing Committee.

Accepted abstracts will be published as part of the abstract proceedings on the conference website.

Please prepare your abstract in accordance with the abstract preparation guidelines below.​

Eligibility

For this annual meeting of the society, the presenting author (first author) must be a member of the Japanese Society for Cultured Food.

Submission Method

All abstract submissions must be completed online through this website.

After completing the abstract registration, an automatic confirmation e-mail will be sent. In addition, The Secretariat will notify applicants of the review results by Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

As internet traffic is expected to be very heavy just before the submission deadline, we strongly recommend completing your registration as early as possible.

Abstract Preparation Guidelines

Those who wish to present a general abstract (oral or poster presentation) are requested to complete the application by entering items 1–6 below in the abstract submission form provided below.

1. Presentation Format

Please choose either an oral presentation or a poster presentation.

(Due to program organization, your preferred presentation format may not always be accommodated. The final decision will be made at the discretion of the Conference Chair.)

2. Title of Presentation

within 120 characters (without spaces) if the presentation is in English

3. Abstract

Please prepare your abstract according to the following guidelines.

(We recommend downloading the manuscript layout template below and preparing your abstract by overwriting the template.)

 ①Submit the abstract as a single-page PDF file with all fonts embedded.

 ②Use A4 paper size with margins of 30 mm at the top and 25 mm at the bottom, left, and right.

 ③Enter the title (font size: 14 pt), followed by one blank line (10.5 pt). The title should not exceed 120 characters.

 ④Enter the affiliations and author names (font size: 10.5 pt). Affiliations and author names should be placed on

  separate lines. The presenting author must be listed as the first author and indicated by a circle symbol (○)

  before the name. If authors have different affiliations, use superscript numbers to identify them.

 ⑤The title, author names, and affiliations should normally fit within six lines. Leave one blank line before the main text. 

 ⑥The main text should be written in 10.5 pt font. Figures, tables, and their captions, if any, should be embedded

  directly within the abstract.

 ⑦At the bottom of the page, provide the English title, author names, affiliations, and contact information.

 ⑧For abstracts written in English, use Arial or Helvetica for the title and Times or Times New Roman for the authors,

  affiliations, abstract text, and contact information.
